The Junior League of Macon is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

By concentrating our volunteer efforts, the Junior League of Macon, Inc. will be a significant force in improving literacy and school readiness in the Middle Georgia community through school partnerships, education, fund raising, advocacy, and hands-on projects. We will enhance our effectiveness in the community by striving to maintain membership satisfaction.

Between The Lines is a partnership with Central Georgia Technical Colleges Adult Learning Center to provide an opportunity for new adult readers to share the joy of reading with their children and grandchildren. Junior League will provide a book and help the adult’s record themselves reading the book to celebrate their accomplishments. International Award

The Junior League of Macon recently received international recognition from the Association of Junior Leagues International, which represents 293 junior league organizations throughout the world.

The Junior League of Macon earned the Fund Development Award for successfully mitigating economic challenges by developing a strong plan for fund development that significantly diversified JLM's funding base to include Endowment Income, Annual Campaign, Grants, and Special Events. The Fund Development Award is one of only five awards given by AJLI each year.
