To the surprise of no-one, members of the JLM Board of Directors for 2008-2009 have already been hard at work to ensure that this year is one of our finest yet in terms of service to our community and satisfaction for our members — provisionals, actives, and sustainers alike. Each woman serving on this year’s Board has a unique background that, when coupled with the common desire to serve the League, will surely create another great blend of leadership. |

Holly Reeves, President
Also from Macon, Holly Reeves obtained her BBA at Mercer University and furthered her studies by pursuing some graduate work in Education. She is a teacher at and an advocate for children with Learning Disabilities. She and her husband Spencer have one daughter, Emily. She is a member of Vineville United Methodist Church. Holly is also a member of the Playground at Water Works Park Steering Committee. She is having a lot of fun learning how to play tennis with a Ladies Beginner Group and helping her daughter plan an April 2009 beach wedding. Her favorite TV show is The Closer and she love are peanut butter and chocolate ice cream from Baskin Robins and BBQ potato chips, (not eaten together of course). She also has 1 dog and 5 spoiled rotten cats. |

Kathleen Medlin, President-Elect
Kathleen Medlin was born and raised in Macon. She has been a member of the Junior League since 1993. Placements have included Attic Sale, Market Place, Fund Development, Public Relations and Corresponding Secretary. She is currently the Institutional Advancement Director for Stratford Academy, her alma mater, but has also worked for Coliseum Health System and Wesleyan College. An Auburn University graduate, Kathleen, and her husband, John, have two children - a son (age 5)and a daughter (age 8). She is also involved in her church, Highland Hills Baptist, and Stratford Interested Parents organization. |

Ashley Griffin, Communications Chair
Ashley is originally from Watkinsville, Georgia. She moved to Macon five years ago for her current position at the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, after receiving a BSFCS from the University of Georgia. Ashley is married to Ryan and they have a baby boy named Bennett. She is on the board of Central Georgia CASA and AroundTown North Macon magazine, and volunteers regularly with the Ronald McDonald House, March of Dimes, and remains actively involved with her sorority, Tri Delta. When she has free time (which is rare!) Ashley enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and being with friends and family.

Jennifer Haskell, Nominating/Training Chair
Jennifer Haskell also claims Macon as her hometown. She earned her BBA in Finance from The University of Georgia. She is employed with Central Georgia Health System as an Internal Auditor. She and her husband George have one son, Nathan, 2 years old. In May, she and her family vacationed at Walt Disney World and some of her favorite thingas are sushi, and the television shows Big Brother, Lost, and The Office.

Julie Davis, Recording Secretary
From the town of Covington, Georgia, Julie Davis has a BBA and MBA Georgia College and State University and she is a Certified Public Accountant at Mercer University . Julie enjoys spending time with her family – Brandon, her husband, her two beautiful girls, Maggie (6) and Madelyn (4), and the dog, Doc. Some of her favorite things include are the Georgia Bulldogs and vacationing at the beach with her family. |

Courtney Baskette, Treasurer
Courtney grew up in Rome, GA and attended GA Tech. She is married to David and has two children, Cooper and Libby. Courtney is a CPA at McNair, McLemore, Middlebrooks & Co., LLP and a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and serve as Treasurer of the Macon Volunteer Clinic Board of Directors. She loves to read and hang out at the beach, preferably at the same time!

Heidi Ream, Corresponding Secretary
From Chula, Georgia, Heidi graduated from Agnes Scott College in 1990 with a BA degree majoring in International Relations. She was a provisional member in 1997-1998. Past placements include Youth Leadership Macon, Yearbook Editor, Recording Secretary, Nominating/Training Chair, and Provisional Advisor. Heidi was a member of the Leadership Macon Class of 2000. She is currently a clothing room volunteer at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, the Lay Leader and Altar Guild Chair of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, and a member of Southern Renaissance Garden Club. She also serves on the board of the Hay House and is the 2009 Chair of the Macon Gardens, Mansions and Moonlight tour, a major fundraiser for the Hay House. Heidi is married to Don Ream. |
