| Community Grants Program |

Thank you for your interest in our Community Grants Program. The Community Grants committee is currently reviewing applications and will inform the applicants of grant decisions in February.
General Information About JLM’s Community Grants:
- Total funds for the 2007-2008 year are limited to $6,000. Because we would like to reach a variety of programs, these funds will be distributed to at least twelve separate organizations and projects.
- Please limit fund requests to $500 per organization or project.
- The requesting organization must be a not-for-profit, 501 C3 tax exempt organization, which serves the area of Macon, Bibb County.
- All requests should meet immediate and specific needs in the community. JLM Community Grant funding is not appropriate for general operating support of an eligible organization.
- Grants are made on a one-time basis. The Community Grants Program is not a vehicle for ongoing support.
- All applications will be considered on an individual merit basis and the availability of funds.
2007-2008 Important Dates and Deadlines:
- December 1, 2007 – Community Grants Program application deadline
- End of January 2008 – Notification letters mailed and funds distributed
- February through May, 2008 – Site visits will be conducted
