Online Registration is now closed. Day-of registration will begin at 7:30 near Porter Pavilion. Please use this form for day-of registration. Cash, check, and credit card will be accepted. If you are a silent reader and need to pick-up your race packet during office hours, the office will be closed the week of February 20. The office will reopen February 27. Office hours are 10:30-2:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Bookin' It 5K features a 5K race course for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities and a Bookworm Jog for children 12 and under. And if you can't participate in the race, you can help support the race as a Silent Reader. The race course starts and finishes at Porter Pavilion and takes runners on a paved course winding through the Amerson River Park portion of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. Strollers are welcome, but must line up behind the runners. Finish line services are presented by A Course/Line LLC of Valdosta. The Bookworm Jog will start at 8:30 AM; 5K will start at 9:00 AM. There will also be post-race refreshments and entertainment for the entire family.
There will be no Friday night packet pick-up this year. Packet pick-up and same day registration will be begin at 7:30 a.m. on February 18 at or near Porter Pavilion.
All proceeds go to benefit the Junior League of Macon's mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The League is focused on improving literacy and school readiness in the Middle Georgia community through school partnerships, education, fund raising, advocacy, and hands-on projects.
